WHAT IS PANIC?
PANIC (ETCMCv2) is a deflationary ERC-20 meme coin on Ethereum Classic with an integrated survival game layer. Holding PANIC puts your balance at risk — periodic world events can burn a percentage of unprotected wallets. The game rewards preparation, community participation, and strategic PvP.
The token uses ETCPOWv2 as a secondary utility token. ETCPOWv2 is earned via staking PANIC and is spent on in-game actions — sending Society chat messages, purchasing Bunker NFTs, and paying fees across the ecosystem.
All contract logic runs on-chain. There is no off-chain oracle and no backdoor to rug balances. World events need a dual-signer threshold before they can fire. Society governance can also shake the world when a passed proposal is finalized.

WORLD EVENTS
What it isPeriodic on-chain disasters that fire on a cooldown. Each event requires dual-signer authorization — no single key can fire alone.
CooldownMordor testnet: 1 hour. ETC mainnet: 48 hours minimum between events.
EffectEach event burns a % of all unprotected PANIC balances. A short settlement freeze locks transfers while burns and payouts settle. Some events extend that freeze up to 10 minutes; some positive events route treasury payouts to eligible holders.
ProtectionBunker NFTs absorb disaster hits (one charge from your lowest-tier sufficient bunker). Exempt wallets (contracts, multisig, LP pairs) are unaffected.
DAO triggerWhen a Society proposal passes quorum and is finalized, it can trigger a random world event — the community vote literally shakes the world. If the world is still in cooldown (or has no active event templates), the proposal stays Passed but no event fires — Passed ≠ event fired; try again after cooldown.

BUNKER PASS NFT
What it isERC-721 NFT that absorbs world event disaster hits. As long as you hold a Bunker with charges remaining, your PANIC balance is untouched during events.
ChargesEach Bunker has a charge count. One charge is consumed per event survived. When charges hit zero, the NFT burns automatically — no manual action needed.
TiersSteel (2 charges), Deep Vault (5), Quantum Shelter (10), Society Shelter (15 — Secret Society members only). Live mint prices are on-chain.
Purchase currencyPaid in native ETC (not ETH, not ETCPOWv2). Funds go directly to the Disaster Treasury.
StackingMultiple bunkers do not stack per event — one charge is consumed from the lowest-tier (weakest) sufficient bunker first. Extra bunkers extend total cover.
RestoreSome positive world events can restore charges to existing Bunkers — amount depends on the event.
HACKER TERMINAL
What it isPvP attack system. Pay ETC to execute a targeted burn against another wallet's PANIC balance — outside of the normal world event system.
Attack types3 types: Phishing Link (0.1 ETC, 0.25% burn), Exploit Payload (0.4 ETC, 0.75%), Zero-Day Strike (1.5 ETC, 2%). Paid in native ETC (not ETH).
CooldownsAfter each attack, the attacker is placed on cooldown (24h–7d depending on type). The target receives an immunity window (4h–48h) — they cannot be hit again until it expires.
ETC costAlways goes to the Disaster Treasury — even if the attack is fully blocked by a Firewall NFT. Attacking costs ETC regardless of outcome.
Firewall interactionIf the target holds a Firewall NFT with charges, the attack is intercepted — the burn is cancelled, one Firewall charge is consumed, but the attacker still loses their ETC and cooldown.
Attack historyThe terminal records incoming attack history on your dashboard so you can see who hit you, when, and with what.
FIREWALL NFT
What it isPvP defense NFT. Each charge intercepts one targeted attack from the Hacker Terminal — the burn is cancelled and the charge is consumed.
TiersBasic (3 charges / 0.3 ETC), Advanced (8 charges / 1 ETC), Military Grade (20 charges / 3 ETC). Purchasable with native ETC.
ScopeProtects only against targeted PvP attacks. It does NOT protect against global world events — use Bunker NFTs for those.
DepletionWhen all charges are consumed the NFT burns automatically.
StackingMultiple Firewalls stack. Charges are consumed from the lowest-tier sufficient firewall first (then fewest charges, then lowest tokenId) so Military is not drained before Basic.
Attacker deterrentSince the attacker pays ETC and loses their cooldown even when blocked, Firewalls create a strong economic deterrent against repeated targeting.
UNDERGROUND VAULT (STAKING)
What it isStake PANIC or ETCPOWv2 tokens to earn ETCPOWv2 rewards over time. The vault is separate from the world event system — staked balances are not subject to disaster burns.
PANIC stakingDeposit PANIC to earn ETCPOWv2. Rewards accrue per second based on the emission rate and your share of the total staked pool.
ETCPOWv2 stakingDeposit ETCPOWv2 to earn PANIC rewards. Same mechanics as PANIC staking — rewards accrue per second based on your share of the total staked pool.
WithdrawalsRewards can only be claimed after the timelock period has passed. Emergency withdrawal is available at any time — you receive only your staked principal with no rewards.
ETCPOWv2 utilityETCPOWv2 earned through staking is spent on Society Chat (and similar fee gates). Bunker and Firewall mints are paid in native ETC, not ETCPOWv2.
EASTER EGG HUNT
What it isA limited-time on-chain scavenger hunt. Clues are hidden across the ecosystem — solve them to claim hidden PANIC rewards.
How it worksEach egg stores a hashed solution on-chain. Submit the correct plaintext answer and the contract verifies it — no oracle required.
PrizesEach egg holds a PANIC reward funded by the treasury. First correct submission wins. Unclaimed rewards may return to the treasury after the hunt ends.
VisibilitySolved eggs are publicly visible on-chain. Unsolved eggs show only their index and reward amount — not the clue or answer.
DAO AIRDROP
What it isHolders of the ETCMCv2 DAO NFT can claim a PANIC airdrop. Each eligible DAO NFT token ID maps to a fixed PANIC amount — only this specific NFT collection qualifies.
Claim currencyClaimers pay a small ETCPOWv2 fee per claim to deter spam. Fee goes to the project treasury.
Proof NFTEach successful claim mints a unique ERC-1155 proof token to the claimer's wallet — on-chain receipt, visible in block explorers.
One-timeEach DAO NFT token ID can only be claimed once. The contract tracks claimed IDs.
SECRET SOCIETY & DAO
AccessHold 1 or more Secret Society NFTs (max 1,000 ever minted). The NFT is ERC-721 and fully transferable on secondary markets.
Mint currencyNative ETC only — proceeds go directly to the project multisig treasury, not to the contract.
Mint priceLive on-chain price in native ETC (not ETH). Launch reference: 4 ETC.
Voting1 vote per NFT held at time of vote. Voting period is 3 days. Proposals require a minimum quorum of 10 votes to pass.
Vote feeLive on-chain fee in ETC per vote — goes to multisig treasury. Prevents spam governance.
Proposals5 types: General Signal (sentiment), Add Event, Modify Event Params, Treasury Action, Special Feature.
On passAfter the voting window ends, anyone can finalize a passed proposal on-chain. Finalization can trigger a random world event — or soft-skip when cooldown/templates block it (proposal remains Passed either way).
Inner Circle ChatSociety NFT holders get access to an on-chain chat channel. Each message costs ETCPOWv2 (spam prevention). Messages are permanent on-chain; abusive posts can be hidden from the public feed without erasing the chain record.
GAMEMASTER TRANSMISSIONS
What it isA classified one-way broadcast channel. The GameMaster writes transmissions and grants specific wallets access to read them.
AccessPer-wallet whitelist. Non-recipients see only an ACCESS DENIED screen.
ContentEach transmission has a title, body, timestamp, and active/inactive status. Inactive transmissions are hidden from recipients but remain on-chain.
Use caseClassified lore drops, mission briefings, special invitations, early intelligence about upcoming world events — delivered only to chosen wallets.
On-chainAll transmissions are stored permanently on-chain. Access control is enforced by the contract — no off-chain gating.
TOKENOMICS
TokenPANIC (ETCMCv2) — ERC-20, 18 decimals
SupplyFixed max supply. No minting after deployment. Supply decreases over time due to disaster burns — PANIC is deflationary by design.
Deflationary mechanismWorld events burn a percentage of all unprotected holder balances. The longer you hold unprotected, the more at risk you are. Bunkers are your insurance.
ETCPOWv2Secondary utility token. Earned via staking, spent on in-game actions. Not listed as a speculative asset — it is a game resource.
TreasuryDisaster Treasury holds ETC collected from Bunker/Firewall purchases, attack fees, and other sources. Used to fund PANIC payouts on positive events and treasury DAO proposals.
MultisigAll proceeds from Society NFT mints, airdrop fees, and vote fees flow to the project multisig — not to any single owner key.

NetworkEthereum Classic / ETC (chain ID 61). Mordor testnet (chain ID 63) for rehearsal — 1h event cooldown vs 48h on ETC.
Event signingWorld events require dual-signer authorization before execution — a single compromised key cannot fire an event alone.
Exempt walletsLP pairs, contracts, and the multisig treasury are exempt from disaster burns so markets and infrastructure keep working.
DEX compatibilityPANIC trades normally on DEX pairs. World events execute outside swap logic — a swap cannot trigger or be disrupted by an event mid-transaction.
Freeze behaviorDuring freeze events, PANIC transfers between non-exempt wallets are paused for up to 10 minutes. Transfers involving at least one exempt address (DEX router, LP pair, contracts) continue — DEX swaps through exempt pairs work normally.
